- Radar Altimeter System designed for small aircraft usage
- Consists of compact KRA-10A receiver/transmitter, standard 3.25" KI-250 indicator and one
KA-131 antenna
- Operates on 28 volt primary power
- Can be operated on 14V with KA-133 adapter
- R/T may be mounted in any position, with or without shock mounts, at
a distance of not more than 2 ft. from antenna
- Has auxiliary analog output for use by Flight Directors and Autopilots
- Digital altitude processor for long, drift-free operation
- Rugged, die-cast construction
- Displays analog altitude data from 20-2500 feet AGL
- Adjustable Decision Height function provided to alert pilot via lamp
and aural tone that the aircraft has descended to a selected altitude
- Self test switch included to enable rapid verification system function
- KI-250 models available with 5V or 14V to 28V / white or red lighting (see table below)
- KA-131 model available in standard configuration designed to be mounted
on a metal surface where front to bakc angle is parallel with the ground within
+/-6 degrees during level flight(see table below)
- KA-131 model available in skewed configuration designed to be mounted on a metal
surface where the front to back angle is parallel with the ground within
6 to 20 degrees during level flight (see table below)
